For clarification: "Our", "We" and "Us" refers to UKBizonline Ltd, and its employees, "You" and "Your" refers to yourself as a client of UKBizOnline Ltd. "Services" refers to the Basic or E-Commerce packages (as outlined elsewhere on this website), or our Copy Writing or Consultation services.

Your use of Our Services is subject to the following Terms of Use (including the Privacy Policy). If You do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the site or purchase its Services. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these Terms of Use. If we make any material changes to these Terms of Use, those changes will be posted here so that you are always aware of our Terms of Use. Since these Terms of Use may change from time to time, you should check back periodically. Your continued use of the Services provided by Us following the posting of changes to the Terms of Use will signal your acceptance of such changes.

  1. Use of Service: By hosting through UKBizOnline Ltd, you agree to abide the terms & conditions of our hosting partners (Bluehost for the basic package and Sitesell for the E-commerce package). You MUST ensure that you are familiar with their terms and conditions before proceeding any further. Additionally, you agree to the boundaries as set out below, in section 2), (Type of content). Lastly, by purchasing Our Services, You agree to the terms laid out in detail in the Web Services Contract.
  2. Type of content: We will provide webhosting, web design and content creation on the understanding that this excludes the following material:
    • promotion of any illegal activity (subject to UK, USA and Canadian laws)
    • pornographic, sexually explicit or erotic content
    • deformatory content, either to individuals, community groups (religious or secular), or other companies
    • content promoting gambling
    • anything which we consider to be in poor taste or offensive material

  3. Fair usage: For both the Basic & E-commerce packages, there is no upper limit to the bandwidth, but please note neither package is not designed to provide a media server service. You CAN include mp3 downloads, flash etc, but they should be part of what you are offering. This is not to say that the E-commerce package is unable to deal with heavy traffic, however: many customers using our partner's services have up to 15,000 visitors per day.

  4. Backups: A DIY web-based backup service is provided with the Basic hosting package, via a web-based interface. The E-commerce package automatically has this provision built-in, with on-going support being provided in both cases by our hosting partners.

  5. Cancellation: For the twelve months of hosting through UKBizOnline, You pay for the whole year. If You wish to cancel useage of Our Services within this time, You must provide Us with 30 days' notice. You will be refunded for up to 6 months' worth of the 1st year's pricing package, or proportionately less if the remaining period is less than 6 months.
    For example, if You paid £180 for the basic package, and You cancel after 4 months, You will be entitled to a 6/12 x £180 or a £90 refund. If You cancelled after 9 months, We would return 3/12 x £180, or £45. Note that Your domain address can be released to another hosting provider only within a 60 day period preceding the 12 month sign-up. This is to prevent the abuse of the quick buying & re-selling of domain names that some entrepreneurs would undoubtedly otherwise attempt.

    After the 12 month period, You may cancel the service at any time, but We will retain the monthly charge that You will have paid Us.

    We reserve the right to cancel the Contract that You have with us at any time, if We believe that You are in breach of the permissible content terms as laid out in section 2), above. The refund conditions would, notwithstanding such a breach, still apply.

  6. Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify and hold UKBizOnline Ltd. and its directors, employees, agents, suppliers, licensers, and any third party involved harmless from and against any claims, costs, damages, or expenses, including legal fees, that may be related to or arise from your usage of this site or its Products and Services (including negligent or wrongful conduct).

  7. Disclaimer: This site, its content and Services are provided on an "as is" basis. No warranties of any kind are implied or expressed due to the operation of this site or the information provided. UKBizOnline Ltd. will not be held liable for any damages of any kind that may arise from the use of this site and related links, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental punitive and consequential damages. UKBizOnline Ltd. disclaims any and all warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability to the full extent of the law in the United Kingdom.
